Custom Alterations and Design
Add some spice to your wardrobe! I am an artist with exceptional sewing and design skills.
I can help restore/remake clothing, or design from scratch, for a reasonable price.
And with spring now here, it is excellent opportunity to start fresh.
Here are some of my rates:
$5.00-$10: Basic alterations, including hems, taking items in or out, adding snaps, elastic, etc.
$10-$50: Complex alterations, involving taking out sleeves, repairing beadwork, adding zippers,
buttonhole/buttons, etc.
$30 and up: Reworking/redesigning clothing items, for example, I redid my entire wedding gown and
veil, making it into a bustier top and matching skirt.
$20 and up: For custom, from scratch design, including all manner of dance skirts and tops, gowns,
costumes, and also non-dancewear, you name it, and I can make it. I have a nice selection of vintage
fabrics, which would make great sundresses or boxers for the guys.
The last service is really fun, because there are tons of fantastic fabric finds out there this
season, and you can have a look that is totally unique. Imagine a beautiful, Marilyn Monroe style
sundress in red for a night out on the town!
