PAUL HOLMES is our Wednesday Guy, picking up the new comics at the warehouse at a ridiculously early time in the morning so that we can get the comics pulled for subscribers and on the shelf by 11am.
PAUL knows an enormous amount about comic writers and artists. We are constanly amazed and impressed by his comic geekiness (we own a comic book store, so we say that in a good way).
PAUL is really, really smart. Take the following for example. He knew he was going to be late to help for set-up for the Comics Kingdom booth at the Baltimore Book Festival so he made sure he brought his dog Melvin with him. He told me it was because he knew I couldn't be mad at him if I saw Melvin, who is in the running for cutest dog in the world. It worked.
PAUL also works at The Maryland SPCA and was chosen as their Employee of the Month in December 2005!
