Dear Seekers:
On Friday, May 08, 2009 from 7:00p - 9:00p, at Breathe Books, Dan Will, a certified Waking Down in Mutuality teacher, will lead an introductory meditation in the extraordinary Waking Down in Mutuality process founded and developed by spiritual pioneer Saniel Bonder (Saniel Bonder is a founding member of the Integral Spiritual Center, created by Ken Wilber).
The revolutionary and democratic Waking Down in Mutuality process as presented in this workshop will include meditation, eye gazing, Being transmission and sharing in a trusting environment. Basic information can be found at www.HeartGazing.com and www.SanielandLinda.com.
This Waking Down in Mutuality session will primarily focus on the Waking Down in Mutuality (WDM) dharma or teachings that distinguish WDM from other schools of awakening as Dan Will instructs the participants in the three key principles of
WAKING,
DOWN, and
MUTUALITY that form the foundation of WDM:
WAKING: Realizing yourself beyond limits
- 1) Consciousness is the infinite transcendent ground which is always registering everything.
- 2) Embodied awakening is the intrinsic path to the fertile ground
of consciousness, where your conscious nature is experienced as inextricably melded
with the body-mind.
- 3) The Waking path leads to recognition that all phenomena, objects
and others are of the “same essence” as one’s Conscious nature.
- 4) Perfection is not a prerequisite to Waking, nor is being free of
ego.
- 5) In Waking, the paradox of simultaneity becomes ever-more apparent: discreteness is simultaneous with seamlessness.
DOWN: Dropping into the feeling heart of being (embodiment)
- 1) Coming into full direct contact with all levels of our being, including our history, body, emotions, mind, intuitions, and spirit.
- 2) Living “Down” allows ourselves to be deeply impacted by life’s ups and downs. We fully experience sensual delights as well as painful limits - the whole range.
- 3) Living Down, we become more enlivened and freely self-expressed.
- 4) Living Down, we are Integrated, not dissociated.
- 5) Living Down, we welcome emotions and intuitions as essential
aspects of our nature.
MUTUALITY: The Art of Awakened Relating
- 1) Mutuality honors one’s own true and total nature while also making room for others to be doing the same.
- 2) In Mutuality, we see and are seen, hear and are heard.
- 3) In Mutuality, we Hold the Other. This holding in Mutuality engenders profound, conscious listening and reflecting.
- 4) In Mutuality, we agree to stay in communication and try to work things out-as long as the situation remains respectful of everyone involved.
- 5) In Mutuality, we have Mutual recognition and calling forth of the divine in one another.
- 6) Wounds created in relationship (as most wounds are) are more fully revealed in mutuality and most deeply healed in and by relationship.
