Annual Sales!
We have three major Annual Sales. Halloween, Winter Holidays and Free Comic Book Day! We do add random Sales that are store wide or just on certain high-lighted sections throughout the year, usually in conjunction with a major pop culture or comic book event. For example, we have done Dr. Who Day with all Dr. Who products and books on Sale when the show premiers each year. Same with Walking Dead. We did a Comic Book Discussion and Sale for the Death of Wolverine story line.

FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!
What is Free Comic Book Day? Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) is a single day - the first Saturday in May each year - when participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely FREE* to anyone who comes into their stores. Amazing Spiral has been an active part of FCBD, since it's inception. It is just one of the ways we love to give back to our community. From long time Comic Book Fans to New to Comics, All Ages will find something wonderful to read! WE COMBINE THIS AWESOME DAY OF FREE COMICS WITH A STORE-WIDE SALE!
Holiday Sale!
Every Year we do a Holiday Store Wide Sale that includes Books, Toys, Leather note books and satchels and other gifts for Christmas and Chanukah.
We also created a charity in honor of our son, Elijah, to help families get Holiday Gifts for families who otherwise would not have any gifts under the tree (or Chanukah bush :-) . We do this give away on the 24th of December. We also give away warm clothes and food to people in need during the Holidays and all year long.
UPDATE December 11 2016
All the warm clothes and also the scarves and hats from the belly dance swap charity event were given to two families who lost everything in two separate fires.
We are meeting with the parents of those two families and three others to get coats, gloves and hats for them on Monday and/or Tuesday at Value Village.
The money we raised at the belly event will be used toward that as well as other funds we have collected through 2016.
Then the families will come to the store for picking out presents and wrapping them.
We were able to give some decorations that we picked up last year to the two families who lost everything including stockings.
If our connection from Guilfotd can get a truck, we will be giving the one family that is in a house a tree.
The other family from the fires is in a shelter still.
